Having been re enactors for quite a while, we noticed that British army units were not well covered within our hobby as other allied and axis units are.  When discussing this I discovered that my fellow re enactor and friend ,Ian , his father had served in the Lovat Scouts from 1942 to 1946. Not knowing much about this Regiment, I began researching the Regiment and found some fascinating facts and stories, whilst researching the Lovat Scouts, I kept on finding reports and stories of GHQ Liaison Regiment "Phantom" . I also began researching this fascinating Regiment and was really surprised that this "special" Regiment was not very well known and what well known names had served within the ranks of officers and men this Regiment!

Our aim is to portray these units as accurately as we can, by using dated items that the Regiments would of used during the time period, also using more replica equipment, as the majority of us do not have the same build as they had in1939 to 1945, some lucky people do have the build so they can wear the correct dated uniforms and equipment.   

 We also wan't to remember the sacrifices that the generation of  1939 to 1945 made, to free occupied countries of the most horrific regimes in the 20th Century ,enabling us to enjoy the freedom that we enjoy and take for granted today.
